Our Story – How AJ’s Cookies Began

In the summer of 2011, life wasn’t exactly sweet. My wife and I were living at my parents’ home during a tough financial season. My youngest brother was in school, taking part in a fundraiser selling tubs of cookie dough.

Being a peanut butter lover, I bought a tub to support him. Weeks later, the dough arrived, and I couldn’t wait to bake it. The smell filled the kitchen… but that first bite? Total disappointment. It didn’t taste like peanut butter at all. Frustrated, I told my wife, “This isn’t a peanut butter cookie. I can make a better cookie.”

That moment lit the spark. I got to work in the kitchen, experimenting until I perfected my own peanut butter cookie — rich, flavorful, and made with real ingredients. By 2012, AJ’s Cookies was born.

Since then, I’ve expanded the flavors, perfected the recipes, and built a cookie brand centered on passion, quality, and joy in every bite.
